Уважаемые форумчане!
Хотелось бы с вами обсудить тему "шизофреногенной матери", происхождение этого термина,где впервые был применен,у кого какие мнения,может опыт общения. Интересует мнения специалистов.

Автора термина не знаю, а сама концепция шизофреногенной матери отталкивается от объектных теорий М.Кляйн, Д.Винникота, М.Майер.
Где-то (кажется у Фуллера Тори) читал критику мнения о ведущем значении отвергающей матери в генезе шизофрении. У Э.Эриксона также есть какие-то критические замечания по этому поводу.

In Fromm-Reichmann's formulation, certain malevolent characteristics of the mother were, in many cases, associated with the etiology of the schizophrenic disorder. Thus, her
coldness and rejection of the schizophrenic set in motion a fatal emotional and behavioral withdrawal culminating in the psychotic break. Schizophrenia as a defect of "mothering" made sense to many clinicians in terms of their formulations of family dynamics, while a variety of related findings such as the etiology of the disorder of "morasmas" supported the

Whatever became of the schizophrenogenic mother?

From the late 1940s to the early 1970s, the concept of the "schizophrenogenic mother" was popular in the psychiatric literature. Research later confirmed that the mother who could cause schizophrenia in her offspring did not exist. Such a blame-levelling concept, which had no basis in scientific fact, may have caused a great deal of harm. Sociocultural factors, coupled with developments in psychiatric theory, contributed to the genesis of the concept. Implications of this episode in the history of psychiatry are discussed.

Шизофреногенная мать - предположительно холодный, доминирующий и безучастный к потребностям других тип поведения. Раньше считалось, что такая мать может спровоцировать развитие шизофрении у своего ребенка.
